I’m a writer, editor, and newsletters manager with over a decade of experience on the digital side of magazine media.
I’m the senior service editor at Best Products, where I write and edit pieces pertaining to the etiquette, dilemmas, and how-tos of gift-giving for all occasions. I also write the weekly advice newsletter “The Present Perfect” and coproduce and edit our gift-wrapping video tutorials (while participating as talent in them, too). I was previously the site's senior home editor, covering all things decor- and bedding-related from 2015 to early 2023.
I enjoy my work the most when it is a satisfying synthesis of organization, research, creativity, and collaboration. I also can’t help but edit everything I read. To that end, in 2019, I earned a certificate in copyediting through UC San Diego Extension. This yearlong endeavor was a meaningful personal pursuit that solidified my passion for grammar, semantics, and etymology.
